The
Soldiers' Home viewed from Whittington Heath
This building was originally the grandstand of the Lichfield
racecourse. After the barracks was built, it became a place
where soldiers could get a meal or cup of tea while spending
time in homely surroundings. It has since become the clubhouse
for Whittington Golf Course. |
