Hesketh Cockshead Dip, December 1922, a fine example
of the craft of the old school of collier. The number 78 on the tub is
the "tally" number of the men sending the coal out of the pit.
On weighing at the pit-head, the weight will be credited to the men for
wages payment. Note the size of the lumps of Cockshead coal in the tub.
