Dress with fur trimmed jacket, 1930s
Full-length dress and jacket both made from machine made rayon lace. The jacket is trimmed with fox fur. The outfit was manufactured for the department store Marshall and Snelgrove.

Today the use of fur in fashion is a controversial subject. Until relatively recently fur was a fashionable, luxury item and there were few concerns about animal rights.
