Hugh Henshall Williamson, 1785-1867. In association with his bother Robert had interests in the Goldendale Ironworks and its associated collieries. In 1834 he inherited considerable portions of the Whitfield estate. By 1828 and until his death in 1867, Mr.Williamson was also in control of the Pinnox and Scotia collieries.
