Grant By King Aethelred Of Three Hides At Abbots Bromley To Wulfric, His Minister, Ad 996


The document is written in a mixture of Latin and Anglo-Saxon and has 44 witnesses, including Wulstan, Bishop of London. Bromley formed part of Wulfric’s endowment of Burton Abbey in the next century.
